The closure of Wootton Bassett Road will mean a diversion is in place for Thamesdown Transport Service 25 service from Monday 24 October for seven days.
During this period, buses will be unable to serve stops from the Running Horse on Wootton Bassett Road, Kingshill Road, Bath Road and Victoria Road into Fleming Way.
Passengers using Service 25 to travel into the town centre will instead be diverted from Mannington Roundabout via Wootton Bassett Road, Penzance Drive, Rodbourne Road, Park Lane, Faringdon Road, Farnsby Street, Commercial Road, Regent Circus and Princes Street to Fleming Way.
Those travelling out of the town centre will be diverted from Fleming Way via Princes Street, Crombey Street, Curtis Street, Milton Road, Faringdon Road, Park Lane, Rodbourne Road, Penzance Drive and Wootton Bassett Road to Mannington Roundabout.
Passengers who normally use this service in the Bath Road area should instead use Service 22 from Goddard Avenue, or use Prospect bus stop on Victoria Road for Services 12, 15 or 22.
Peter Oliver, Commercial Director for Thamesdown, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience these diversions cause during the duration of the works.”
