Body of man found near to Swindon

Wiltshire Police officers were called to a location called Water Eaton Copse, near Swindon, at just after 4pm this afternoon (Thursday 13 April 2017) where a body of a man had been found by a member of the public.

The circumstances of the death do not appear suspicious.

Formal identification has not yet been completed; this will be completed by the coroner in the next few days.

The family of missing man Jason Titcombe (46) has been informed of this latest development.

They have asked that the media do not attempt to contact them at this difficult time.
