£6,000 worth fishing gear stolen in burglary, Swindon

Wiltshire Police investigating a shed burglary in Moredon Road, Swindon in which thousands of pounds of fishing gear was stolen.

Carp Rod

At some point between 4.00 pm on 27/1 and 6.30 pm 28/1 offender(s) forced entry to the shed and stole the following items:

  • Shimano Aero Technium reel
  • Trakker rod sleeve
  • Trakker tempest bivvy
  • Century landing net
  • Century  graphene spod rod 12ft
  • Century Graphene-12ft Carp Rod
Images of the stolen items with a total value of £6,000 are above.

Local Crime Investigator Veneta Hannibal said: “The victim is understandably upset following the break in and theft of the fishing gear.  If you are aware of anyone offering these items for sale please contact us. Equally if you were in the area and saw any suspicious activity, come forward and help us to identify those responsible.”
