Wiltshire Police are appealing for the public’s help as part of our investigation into a disorder, in Old Town, Swindon.

The incident occurred shortly after 7pm on December 21 in Victoria Road, near to Longs bar.

A 24-year-old local man was assaulted during a disorder involving multiple people.

He was taken to the Great Western Hospital for treatment for facial injuries.

Det Con Gregory Farmery said: “We have been conducting extensive enquiries since this disorder in Old Town at the end of last year and a 31-year-old man has been interviewed under caution.

“We now have two CCTV images of a man we would like to speak to in connection with the incident. There were lots of people in the area at the time of the disorder who may be able to help us. Alternatively, we’d encourage everyone to take a look at these images and see if they can help.

“If you have any information, please get in touch via 101.”

Call 101 and quote crime reference number 54180120872.

Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
