‘Swindon Borough Council are always working hard to improve the condition of our roads’.
In 2017 Swindon borough council fixed more than 5,900 potholes in and around Swindon, equivalent to more than 20 repairs every working day.
Over the past month, they’ve ran a campaign to showcase the work of their Highways Team, shining a light on how they manage pothole repairs and encouraging the public to help us by reporting them.
In the first three weeks of the campaign, they received 78 new pothole reports from residents and fixed 347 potholes on Swindon’s roads and footpaths, including those identified by our highway inspectors.
