Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a man indecently exposed himself to a woman in the Penhill area of Swindon.

Around 9.30pm on Monday 2 April, a woman in her 20s was walking along Inglesham Road when the incident happened;  the man also made some lewd comments to her before she ran away from him.

The woman was shaken but unhurt.

PC Gareth Ivett said:  “This was obviously a very distressing incident for the young woman and luckily she was not hurt; we are appealing to anyone who may have heard or seen anything suspicious in this area at this time.
“It’s a well lit road, in full view of houses and there were a number of people in the area around this time – somebody should have seen or heard something.
“If you witnessed a man acting in a suspicious way or know about this indecent exposure please contact me on 101.”

If you can help with our enquiries please contact PC Gareth Ivett on 101 or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
