Goldsworthy’s Launch After School Club

Style-conscious youngsters across the South West can now enjoy an award-winning haircut at a great price thanks to the launch of the Goldsworthy’s After School Club.

The three salons in the Goldsworthy’s group – spanning Swindon, Cirencester and Marlborough – are now running the new After School Club every Tuesdayand Wednesday for fashion-forward kids aged 10 to 16 who want a tailored, stylish cut without breaking the bank of mum and dad.

The offer sees girls enjoying a cut and blowdry for just £15, while boys’ cuts are priced at just £10 each. The cuts are carried out by qualified Graduate Stylists from the Goldsworthy’s team, who have been trained in-house at the Goldsworthy’s Academy. On Tuesdays, clients are able to book appointments with the current trainees and graduates at discounted prices through ‘The Academy’.

At Goldsworthy’s, every customer’s cut is tailored to his or her individual needs – and that goes for the younger customers too. Their unique AURA cutting system creates a cut with memory, meaning that styles are easy to maintain at home: particularly beneficial for younger customers who may not have the time, knowhow or patience to replicate complex styles.

Steven Goldsworthy, owner of the salon group, said: “We’re well aware that our younger clients are just as style-conscious – if not more so – than our adult customers, so why should they not be able to enjoy the same treatment as their parents? Our After School Club benefits both the youngsters and the salons: they get their perfect haircut at a fantastic price, while we can continue to train up the star stylists of the future.”

The family-run Goldsworthy’s salons were established in 1961, beginning with their Swindon salon and subsequently expanding to Marlborough and Cirencester. The family are five-time winners of the prestigious Wales and South West Hairdresser of the Year Award. Third generation Goldsworthy Josh personally received his fourth nomination for the award in 2015.

Alongside award-winning haircuts, Goldsworthy’s offers a range of top quality hair care products, including brands such as Kérastase, Wella and more. The salon’s knowledgeable staff are always available to offer guidance on the best products for each style, and retail outlet The Hair Shop at both the Swindon and Marlborough salons offers “hair advice with a website price”, with product discounts of up to 25%.
