Wiltshire Police appealing for witnesses to a collision in which a motorcyclist sadly died.

The incident happened on the A346 near Ogbourne St George at approximately 11am on Monday 28 August.

A motorcyclist, a man aged in his 60s, was riding a Triumph motorbike south along the A346 when he is believed to have fallen into the path of a Hyundai I10, which was travelling north.

The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.

PC Stephen Hughes, of the Policing Unit, said: “We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision itself who has not already spoken to police, as well as anyone who may have seen either the Hyundai or the motorcyclist prior to the collision.

“Anyone with information should call police on 101, or Cirmestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

“Our thoughts remain with the family of the motorcyclist at this very sad time.”
