A road traffic collision between two cars has closed two of three lanes on the M4 Westbound carriageway between J18 and J19, near Bristol.
Motorists are advised to allow time for their journey as long delays are building.
Normal traffic conditions are expected between 10:15 and 10:30 this morning, 4 July.
Highways England ask motorists to consider using alternative routes if possible.
