Wiltshire Police is appealing for witnesses to an assault in the underpass between The Parade and bus station in Swindon town centre.

Around 1pm on Monday 26 June 2017 a woman in her twenties was assaulted by two other females in the underpass.

A small group of people gathered around and after the incident members of the public spoke to the injured woman who received bruises to her face.

PC Rebecca Weaver said: “This appears to be an unprovoked attack in the middle of town in broad daylight – there would have been lots of people around who would have witnessed this – if that was you please come forward.
“Also, I would like to speak to anyone who gathered around during the assault and who spoke to the victim afterwards.”

If you can help with our enquiries please contact PC Rebecca Weaver on 101 or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111
