Drugs warrant executed in Swindon

Wiltshire Police has carried out a Drugs Act warrant at an address in Swindon.

In the early hours of Friday 16 June 2017 officers visited a property on Beatrice Street and found just under a kilo of cocaine, benzocaine, a cocaine press, and offensive weapons.

Two men, resident at the address, are to be interviewed in due course.

PC Emma Rice from the Dedicated Crime Team said:  “This was a successful warrant carried out by our officers resulting in these finds.

“I would like to continue to encourage members of the community to report any suspicions relating to drug activity – all information we receive helps us build up a better picture of what criminal activity is taking place.”
