Drivers wishing to use the M4 in West Berkshire this weekend are being advised by Highways England to plan their journeys as work to maintain bridges continues.
The M4 eastbound carriageway will be fully closed overnight, between 10pm and 6am, on Friday (23 June) and Sunday (25 June).
From 6am on Saturday until 10pm on Sunday, the contraflow lane for the eastbound carriageway will be closed, meaning that only two lanes will be open to traffic during this time. The westbound carriageway will remain open to traffic with three narrow lanes in place.
The work this weekend is part of the bridge maintenance scheme on two bridges that carry the M4 over Dark Lane and Ashampstead Road.
