A Swindon man who carried out a number of assaults and a robbery in one evening has pleaded guilty at Swindon Crown Court.
Connor Gallagher (22) from Crispin Close, Stratton, Swindon pleaded guilty to three counts of GBH and one of robbery on Friday 16 June 2017.
He is expected to be sentenced at the end of August.
It relates to four separate incidents which took place in the Nisa Store, Penhill, on Canal Walk and around Cambria Bridge Place and Park during Friday evening (12 May 2017) where innocent members of the public were assaulted and/or robbed.
PC Sarah Harnden said: “We are pleased with the outcome of a guilty plea.
“Connor Gallagher went on a violent assault and robbery spree that night but thanks to the bravery of his victims and witnesses, who came forward, we managed to arrest and charge this individual quickly.
“I’d like to thank everyone who helped in our investigation to bring it to this satisfactory end.”
