The Electrical Compliance Collective (TECC) has opened a new headquarters at Enterprise House, which includes a showroom dedicated to electrical equipment and renewable energy products.
More than 35 representatives from local businesses attended the official opening on 16 September, alongside the Mayor of Swindon, Councillor Neil Hopkins, and his Consort, Jane Milner-Barry.
The company, led by husband-and-wife joint managing directors Peter and Maria McCallum, has relocated from Dorcan Business Village to accommodate its expanding operations.
Guests were invited to tour the new facilities at Unit 20, Enterprise House, and learn more about the services offered to domestic, commercial and industrial customers.
The move has provided the business with additional space, including a showroom where customers can examine products and discuss installation options with staff.
Among the equipment on display are solar panels, battery storage systems, electric vehicle chargers, lighting, consumer units and fire alarms.
Visitors can also explore decorative electrical fittings and an air-conditioning system before deciding which products are suitable for their property.
The showroom aims to help customers make informed decisions by allowing them to see equipment in person rather than relying on photographs or brochures.
Peter McCallum said:
“Moving into Enterprise House is a really important step for us. We have grown considerably over the years and wanted premises that reflected where the business is today, while also giving us room to continue developing.
“It was fantastic to welcome so many people through the doors and to be able to show them what we have created.”
The opening brought together members of Swindon’s business community, with the Mayor and his Consort meeting employees and viewing the new facilities.
Maria McCallum said:
“We are incredibly proud that TECC is a family-run Swindon business, so having so many other local businesses come along to support us made the afternoon particularly special.
“The showroom is something we are especially pleased with because it gives customers somewhere they can actually come in, see some of the products available and talk through their options rather than having to make decisions from pictures alone.
“The response to the new premises has been wonderful and it was lovely to be able to celebrate this next chapter of the business with people from the local community.”
The company continues to provide electrical contracting and renewable energy services to customers across Swindon and the surrounding area.
TECC is now operating from Unit 20, Enterprise House, Cheney Manor, Swindon.
