The Generation Gains team are introducing walking football to Croft by holding a FREE session on Monday 20th November 2017 between 10.00am-11:30am.

‘Generation Gains’ is a community engagement project which is funded by Zurich Community Trust in partnership with GLL.

The aim of the project is to support and engage with socially isolated older people within the Swindon community using their leisure centres, shelter housing locations, care homes and community centres as an engagement point so that they may help improve the health and wellbeing of older people through activities, fun and socialising.

This session is the first of many that will focus on activities to engage with older members of the community, keeping them active and independent for longer regardless of their personal circumstances.

To book your free space, pre book by either emailing [email protected] or calling Croft Sports Centre on 01793 618669.
