200,000 low cost tickets available in Great Western Railway January sale

200,000 low cost tickets are now available as train operator Great Western Railway launches its January sale.

Hurry now to take advantage of limited, low-cost fares to travel across the Great Western network.

Feel the need for a weekend away? Did you not get the chance to catch up properly over Christmas?

Do you want to save money? Travel between London Paddington and:

  • Oxford from £5
  • Hereford from £5
  • Worcester from £5
  • Swindon from £5
  • Bath Spa from £8
  • Plymouth from £12
  • Taunton from £12
  • Penzance from £12

Save as much as 83% compared to the cost of an Off Peak Single between Bristol Temple Meads and Reading, or 83% between Exeter St Davids and London Paddington.

Available to purchase from Friday 5 January until Friday 19 January, the discounted Advance Single fares can be used to travel from Sunday 21 January through to Wednesday 28 March.

Travel on a brand new Intercity Express Train to some of the UK’s top attractions and most picturesque destinations, or any GWR service across the GWR network, which serves over 280 stations across 10 counties and South Wales.

First Class Advance Single fares are also available. Why not take advantage of £20 fares between Hereford and Worcester and London Paddington; and £30 fares between Cornwall and London Paddington.

GWR is offering 160,000 reduced cost Standard Advance Single fares and 40,000 First Class Advance Single tickets, available to purchase from our website, through our mobile app or from ticket offices.

The GWR network stretches from London Paddington in the east to Cornwall and the south west; Bristol and South Wales; Gloucester; Oxfordshire and the South Cotswolds as well as parts of Surrey and West Sussex.
