The community choir, which launched last year, has grown to around 50 members from across Swindon and Wiltshire.
The concert takes place at the C6 Theatre at Commonweal School in The Mall on Saturday 11th July, starting at 7.30pm.
Audiences can expect songs from productions including We Will Rock You, Billy Elliot, Blood Brothers, Jesus Christ Superstar, Operation Mincemeat, Sunshine on Leith, Let It Be, Six, Oliver and The Pirates of Penzance.
The choir performs musical theatre in an a cappella style, without instrumental accompaniment, and has already appeared at local festivals and events, including the STEAM Museum’s Golden Age Festival.

Co-founder Jessica Broderick said:
“Swindon has a strong choral scene but we felt there was space for a new group of singers with a focus on musical theatre ‘a cappella’ – without instrumental accompaniment.
“They’ve made amazing progress in their first year, transforming from people who’d never sung together into a talented and supportive community of friends.
“They’re such a diverse group. We have members aged from 19 to 82 years old, not only from Swindon but also Royal Wootton Bassett, Wroughton, Highworth, Cricklade and beyond.
“We have teachers and gardeners, nurses and nursery workers, artists and administrators – it’s a great mix of backgrounds.
“We’ve already performed at the STEAM Museum’s Golden Age Festival and other events across the county, but this will be our first ticketed event where we are the headline act.
“We hope people will come along to enjoy an awesome evening of sensational singing!”
The choir will be joined by Chippenham Show Choir, while close harmony group Ten in a Bar will appear as special guests.
Tickets cost £12 and are available from www.ticketsource.com by searching for ‘Swindon Show Choir’.
