Adelyn, who trains at Swindon School of Gymnastics (SSG), represented the South West at the Women’s Artistic Gymnastics National Finals in Stoke-on-Trent before going on to win gold at the English Tumbling Championships in Telford.
At the national finals, Adelyn was selected as part of the South West regional team and competed against gymnasts from across Great Britain.
She delivered performances across all apparatus to help the South West squad secure second place overall, finishing ahead of 16 other regions to claim the silver medal.

The result was a significant milestone for Swindon School of Gymnastics, with Adelyn and another SSG gymnast becoming the club’s first female representatives at the national finals for 25 years.

Success continued at the English Tumbling Championships last weekend, where eight gymnasts from the Swindon club qualified to compete against some of the country’s top tumblers.

Adelyn produced a winning display to become English Champion in her age and level category.
She finished ahead of 17 competitors from clubs across England to take home the gold medal.
The championships also brought further success for Swindon School of Gymnastics, with another club gymnast winning a silver medal in the boys’ competition.
The achievements cap a successful period for the club and highlight the talent being developed by young gymnasts in Swindon.
