The former Girls Aloud singer will perform at GWR Park on Saturday 15th August 2026. Thousands are expected to attend the annual celebration, which has become one of the South West’s largest Pride events.

Coyle rose to fame as part of Girls Aloud, a BRIT Award-winning group that sold more than four million albums and became one of the UK’s most successful girl bands.

Organisers say her set will feature a mix of Girls Aloud hits and solo material.

The announcement has been made during Pride Month, which takes place throughout June and highlights LGBTQIA+ identity, equality and inclusion across the UK.

Paul Stewart, Event Manager for Swindon & Wiltshire Pride, said:

“We are absolutely delighted to welcome Nadine to Swindon & Wiltshire Pride. She is a true pop icon, and her performance will be an unforgettable highlight for our community and visitors alike.

“This announcement sets the tone for what will be our biggest and most exciting Pride yet.”

The event will return to GWR Park for a third consecutive year.

Almost 16,000 people attended last year’s celebration, with visitors travelling from across Wiltshire and beyond, according to organisers.

This year’s event will begin with the annual Pride March, which will gather outside Nationwide Building Society’s Regent Street headquarters at 11am.

Participants will set off through the town centre at 11.30am before making their way to the park.

The main festival will run from 11am until 8pm.

A dedicated quiet hour will take place from 11am until midday to help ensure the event remains accessible and inclusive.

Main stage entertainment will begin when marchers arrive at around midday, with further acts due to be announced in the coming weeks.

Swindon & Wiltshire Pride was first launched in 2008 and expanded the following year. The organisation gained charitable status in 2019 and now supports LGBTQIA+ people across the county.

Organisers are appealing for additional sponsors as preparations continue for what is expected to be one of the town’s biggest summer community events.

More performers and event details are set to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
