The Old Town Easter Quiz Trail has launched for the first time this Easter holidays, offering a simple, self-guided activity for families in Swindon.

The concept is straightforward. Quiz sheets can be collected from any of the nine participating venues in Old Town. Families then visit each location, answer a question displayed at every stop and complete the sheet for a chance to win a family prize.

Completed entries can be handed in once all answers have been gathered.

The trail allows families to take part at a time that suits them. The trail is free to enter and can be completed in one go or spread out over several days during the holidays.

This year’s participating venues are:

* Hilliars Funeral Company
* Willobys Furniture
* Gustoso
* Angel Wilkins
* Leightons Opticians
* Chappells Estate Agents
* Minuteman Press
* The Clifton Pub
* Deacons Jewellery

The businesses involved reflect a broad mix of independent retailers, hospitality venues and local services based in Old Town.

Organisers say the trail is designed to encourage families to explore the area while supporting local firms during the Easter break.

Alongside the trail, Old Town continues to promote initiatives such as the Friends of Old Town Card scheme, which provides access to offers across a range of businesses in the district.

The Easter Trail forms part of a wider programme of events planned throughout the year aimed at increasing footfall in the area.

Full details, including how to take part, are available online.
