A member of staff at Subway in Swindon was assaulted by a customer yesterday and we are appealing for information.

At approximately 10.10am on Wednesday 24 January, a woman entered the store in Hoopers Place, Old Town, and upon paying for her food, she slapped the member of staff who was serving her to the face.

Fortunately she was not injured.

The customer is described as white, approximately 6 ft tall, of skinny build. She had her dark coloured hair tied back.

A photograph of a woman we would like to speak to in connection with this incident is above.

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may be able to identify the woman pictured, should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
