Earlier this month, Wiltshire Wildlife Trust announced the generosity of its supporters who had donated over £50,000 to help secure the deposit to save the wildflower meadows at Morningside Farm, between Royal Wootton Bassett and Swindon.

Supporters have given the Trust a boost to their appeal, taking the total raised so far with Gift Aid to over £130,000. Included in this amount is a recent donation of £45,100 from the Banister Trust.

Dr Gary Mantle, Chief Executive, Wiltshire Wildlife Trust commented “The support we have received has been incredible. It’s very exciting to see that we are already over a quarter of the way towards the £451,000 needed to secure the future of these stunning meadows.  We would like to thank everyone who has donated to the appeal.”

If anyone would like to donate to further boost the appeal they can do so via Wiltshire Wildlife Trust’s website www.wiltshirewildlife.org/morningsideappeal
