Carl’s Garden Maintenance was established by Carl Taylor. The goal? To provide the best value for money garden services in the greater Swindon area.

You may recognise Carl. He’s been featured in the media for his work in the car industry and various fitness fundraisers. They include cycling from Swindon to Penzance and Scotland for local charities. Today his focus is squarely on his latest challenge; Managing a rapidly growing garden maintenance business.

Why garden maintenance?

Landscaping is the family business. My Dad worked as a turf supplier, and later as a tree surgeon, through Swindon and Wiltshire. I helped out and learned the trade. As a teenager I began providing lawn care in Royal Wootton Bassett. After a long spell at Honda, I decided to return to my roots and reprise a business I enjoy and work in the great outdoors again.

What do you enjoy most about this job?

After working in a manufacturing environment for so long, I enjoy working outside — Even in the rain. Many of my jobs involve lawn care (mowing and edging, etc), but I enjoy learning new skills and taking on fresh challenges. Mostly though it’s the start vs. the end product. Transforming an over-grown jungle into a garden my client is proud of.

Carl Goes The Extra Mile & Provides Landscaping Services Throughout Wiltshire

Can you outline your range of services and areas of operation?

I’ll consider most jobs. My core work is lawn care, deck and driveway cleaning, tree surgery, planting and garden clearance. Every client and garden is different though. I tailor my service to meet the clients needs. You can find an overview of my most in demand services via my website at CarlsGardenMaintenance.co.uk.

I initially began working in central Swindon. Today I have regular work in surrounding towns and villages. They include Wroughton, Royal Wootton Bassett, Bishopstone and further if the work is suitable including Marlborough, Malmesbury, Devizes and Chippenham.

What distinguishes Carl’s Garden Maintenance from other local gardeners?

I’d like to say the breadth of my experience and desire to ensure my clients are happy with the job in question. This industry is based on repeat clients. I’m a perfectionist and my standards are high. It’s vital to ensure your clients are satisfied with the finish. I think my success in this industry is evidenced by the retention of these clients and my growing client base.

You can view examples of my work on our Facebook page.

Why hire a pro gardener?

Many jobs can be handled by a novice with a bit of enthusiasm and care. Some jobs, including tree work, can be dangerous, strenuous and require specialised knowledge.

Our clients needs and backgrounds vary. Some are elderly and need a helping hand to maintain their garden. Others have large estates that are too big to manage without help. Regardless of their background though, all of my clients take great pride in their gardens.

It’s my job to ensure the finish matches their standards.

How can people contact you?

People can reach me on 07954 617321 or by my website. They can also email me at [email protected]. I respond to all inquiries within 24 hours and provide an in person consultation to answer all of your questions before the work begins.
