Swindon’s Old Town to get new reward app

Digital loyalty app, Memberoo, will be launching in Swindon’s Old Town on 12th October.

Already established in Bath and Cardiff, Memberoo has set its sights on Swindon as its next location to reap its rewards.

Offering a new kind of loyalty, Memberoo does away with traditional paper-based loyalty cards and allows customers to get offers, rewards and collect points from their favourite businesses.

To herald its arrival, Memberoo will be hosting a launch event with plenty of treats and offers from local businesses to all customers downloading the Memberoo app.

Emma Smith, CEO of Memberoo, said: “This is an exciting new chapter in the Memberoo story. Swindon’s Old Town is a great location and the businesses there are essential to local people.  We are keen to share our platform and help customers and local business engage in a more meaningful and personalised way.”

The app will focus on making connections with local businesses, allowing customers to get the best rewards in their local area from all the places they frequently visit.

Emma continued: “We’ve already seen a great success working with businesses in Bath and Cardiff. Therefore, Swindon seemed like a great next step for us as we hope to grow our customer base across the UK.”

Memberoo has already achieved great success so far in businesses in Bath and Cardiff, with one in particularly being Bath-based Mokoko coffee. The independent coffee shop has seen a 79% retention rate in comparison to the industry average of 15% thanks to the app.

Memberoo aims to achieve similar results with Swindon businesses moving forward.

We all love a little discount or offer, whether that’s on food, drink, activities or clothing so it can only be a good thing.

There are so many bars and restaurants in Old Town that already offer promotions, but this could potentially further these, which will be passed onto you, the consumer.
