Wiltshire Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault in Swindon.
On Saturday 18 March 2017 between 3.45am and 4am at Tennessee Chicken, Victoria Road, Swindon an unknown woman attacked another woman, grabbing her hair and dragging her to the floor. The victim then fell on her back and banged her head causing her to black out temporarily.
Staff in the take-away ushered the offender and another woman (believed to be her friend) off the premises; the victim was taken to A&E by police officers as she was left with cuts and scratches to her head and hand, but left the hospital before being treated.
CCTV pictures of a woman police would like to speak to in relation to this incident are attached.
PCSO Charlie Milne said: “We’d like to speak to anyone who witnessed this attack or anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in and around this take-away.
“It’s a busy part of town at the weekend, even at this time in the morning – someone should have seen something.
“Also, I would like to hear from anyone who recognises the woman in the attached pictures.”
If you can help with our enquiries please contact PCSO Charlie Milne on 101 or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
