Alleged house break-in and vehicle theft at Tadpole Garden Village

An incident was reported yesterday, Friday 3rd March, around 5pm regarding an alleged burglary and car theft in the area of Tadpole Garden Village, Swindon.

An unknown number people of apparently broke into a property and stole the car keys of a vehicle.

Whilst the thief was getting away from the scene, they crashed the stolen vehicle into a nearby property, causing a large amount of damage to the garden wall.

At this point no members of the public appear to have been injured during these events.

Wiltshire Police, with the support of a dog unit, were on the scene very promptly but no official statement has been received about the incident at this time.
