Wiltshire Police is appealing for information to identify a male after the release of a CCTV image relating to an assault at an ATM outside Lloyds Bank, Gorse Hill.

The incident happened around 2pm on Thursday 8 December 2016; a woman was withdrawing money from the ATM, at the branch on Cricklade Road, when she was pushed by an unknown offender who took the money she had just withdrawn and ran off.

A picture of a male officers would like to speak to in relation to this incident is attached.

PC Joanna Field said: “We would like to speak to anyone who may have heard or seen anything suspicious in this area at this time.

“Also, please come forward if you recognise the person in the photograph.

“This is a very upsetting crime for anyone to have to cope with; our victim was very shaken by this experience and luckily she was not injured.”

If you can help with our enquiries please contact PC Joanna Field on 101 or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
