Happy tummies make for happy mummies and daddies so, with the school holidays around the corner, Italian restaurant group Carluccio’s is spreading some cheer this Easter – kids’ meals are just £1 Monday to Friday from 30th March until 13th April.

Under 10s can enjoy a delicious main dish, dessert and a soft drink, all for just £1 with every adult main ordered. The kids’ menu features a choice of classic Italian family favourites including lasagne, creamy macaroni cheese, ravioli filled with ricotta and pine nuts or chicken Milanese served with rosemary roasted potatoes. Little ones can also create their own pasta dish with a choice of Carluccio’s tomato, pesto, or bolognaise sauces with spaghetti or ditaloni meaning ‘small thimbles’ due to its shape. To finish, bambinos can opt for a gelato or sorbetto in a variety of flavours.

Parents are looked after just as well with a menu packed full of authentic Italian dishes adhering to the late Antonio Carluccio’s food philosophy of ‘MOF MOF’ – minimum of fuss, maximum of flavour. As well as antipasti boards, freshly made pasta, small plates and grills, there’s a strong selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes.  And, whilst the kids are knee deep in Carluccio’s activity pack, there might be time for a sneaky glass of prosecco – it is the holidays after all!
