The popular event returns on Saturday 2nd May from 10am to 4pm, with organisers expecting more than 60 stalls to fill the town centre.

Each year, the celebration turns Highworth into a busy focal point for residents and visitors alike. Local traders, craft sellers and food vendors will line the High Street, offering a wide range of goods and refreshments.

Organisers say there will be plenty of family-friendly entertainment throughout the day. Activities for children and live street performances are planned, alongside opportunities to find out more about local businesses and community groups.

The event regularly attracts visitors from neighbouring Swindon, adding to the lively atmosphere. Its blend of traditional May Day charm and modern community spirit has helped cement its place in the town’s calendar.

A spokesperson for the event said:

“The team is looking forward to welcoming crowds back once again, adding that the combination of good weather, a wide range of stalls and a ‘brilliant community atmosphere’ should make for a memorable day.”

With preparations complete and bunting already in place, organisers are hopeful for another successful celebration bringing together families, friends and visitors from across Wiltshire.
