The online retail giant, which is the official “Home of the Red Nose”, has helped contribute to a UK-wide total of more than £2 million so far for the 2026 campaign.

At Amazon’s fulfilment centre in Swindon, employees organised a range of activities aimed at engaging both staff and the local community.

One of the highlights saw team members visit Seven Fields Primary School, where they worked with pupils to design their own red noses.

The session linked to this year’s “Design-Yer Nose”, a blank version of the well-known fundraising symbol designed to encourage creativity while promoting the campaign’s message of humour and compassion.

David Tindal, General Manager at Amazon in Swindon, said: “Our team puts a lot of heart into everything we do, and supporting Comic Relief is no different. From getting Red Noses out to our customers to joining in with the fun here on site, it was a brilliant week, and all for an incredibly worthy cause.”

He added: “It’s been fantastic to see colleagues getting involved and supporting such an important campaign.”

Amazon employee Millie Grimmett also reflected on the week’s activities.

She said: “There’s nothing quite like bringing the whole team together for a good cause, and Red Nose Day always delivers on that front. Whether it was chatting with pupils, designing red noses together, getting covered in glitter or everything in between, we gave it our all and had a brilliant time doing it.”

Comic Relief was founded in 1985 by Richard Curtis and Lenny Henry and remains one of the UK’s most recognisable fundraising campaigns.

The charity supports projects tackling poverty, injustice, conflict and climate-related challenges in the UK and overseas.

This year’s campaign also included a collaboration with artist Mr Doodle, who created a series of limited-edition nose designs as part of a collector’s range sold through Amazon.

Last year, Amazon, together with its employees, customers and partners, raised more than £2.2 million for Comic Relief.

Fundraising for the 2026 appeal is ongoing.
