An exciting new vegan food and social event, which launched last month at The Crossing, will be returning on Thursday 12 September.
Last month the inaugural Indy’s Vegan Social saw around 75 people get together for an evening of entertainment, vegan food and socialising. The event was the idea of Victoria Capener who runs her Vegan Kitchen at The Crossing in The Brunel centre. Victoria said: “I am absolutely delighted with how the first event went and I am really looking forward to the September one. I was inspired to put this social event together after attending London’s Brick Lane Vegan Nights and I thought it would be great to have something like it in Swindon. I’m pleased to say that it went brilliantly, it was really well attended and the feedback has been excellent.”
The next event, which is free to attend, will again start at 7pm and will, once again, take place in The Crossing, in The Brunel Centre in Swindon Town Centre.
There will be a talk about running an ethical business by Kelly Vowles, the owner of Pixal-Rose Hair Design plus Tom McCarthy will provide the music and vegan food will be available from Victoria at Indy’s Vegan Kitchen.
Lewis Fagence is Occupier Relationship Manager at The Brunel. Lewis said: “Indy’s Vegan Social has got off to a fantastic start and we were delighted with the support shown for the first event. I’m sure Indy’s Vegan Social is going to go from strength-to-strength and become a regular feature at The Crossing.
“We now have two successful monthly social events running at The Crossing. Earlier this year we launched Brunel Knights, a games night for all the family. Attendance at Brunel Knights has been superb. The next Brunel Knights events will be held on 4 September and 2 October.”
