Following a successful Superhero Scarecrow competition at Tadpole Farm CE Academy in the February Half Term, a neighbourhood Scarecrow Trail has been created and launched last weekend in Tadpole Garden Village.
Friends of Tadpole Farm (Tadpole Farm CE Academy’s PTA) organised the entire activity, gaining business sponsorship and encouraging local schools, families and the community to design and build their very own Superhero Scarecrow. Over 25 scarecrows have been positioned around Tadpole Garden Village and after having collected a map, families are sent on a hunt to find and name them all. Maps cost £2 and can be collected from Bovis, Bellway or Davis Wilson show homes during their opening hours (you’ll need the right change).
If you want to get involved, you have until 3pm on Saturday 11th May to finish the trail and enter the prize draw to win £100! A Superheroes Unite event will take place at Tadpole Farm School at this time. For more information visit the Facebook Page: ‘Friends of Tadpole Farm – TGV Scarecrow Trail’.
