National house builder, Redrow Homes, has announced plans to build 175 family homes at Abbey Farm, near Swindon.
With its mix of three, four and five-bedroom houses, the development will offer a perfect combination of Cotswold country living with the convenience of being a near Swindon.
The site will be developed in two phases starting next year, subject to planning, with showhomes due to open in April/May 2017. The first phase consists of 70 plots with the remaining 105 in the second.
The ‘Heritage Collection’ houses will blend old with new, taking inspiration from the soft colour palettes of traditional 1930s homes of the Arts and Crafts era.
Abbey Farm is located on the edge of glorious open Cotswolds countryside and benefits from stunning views. The site is also well connected with excellent transport and commuter links across the south of England.
The A419 is just a couple of minutes away, connecting you to the M4 and Swindon has direct trains to London Paddington in around an hour.
Lee Hawker, managing director of Redrow South West, said: “We’re really excited about this development. “These will be great family homes, situated in beautiful countryside but with Swindon close at hand, they’ll offer the best of both worlds.”
Homes are available from £394,995 and people can reserve their new home now and take advantage of ‘pre-show home prices’ with just a 5% deposit through Help to Buy.
Anyone who is interested can visit the sales office at Redrow’s nearby Coate at Badbury Park development to view the plans, development model as well as the Henley show home.
