Parts of England already battered by Storm Angus have seen roads shut and trains diverted due to extra flooding.

Earlier this morning, GWR shut the rail lines between Swindon and Bristol Parkway due to flooding.

They took to Twitter to update the public that normal service wasn’t expected to resume until around 8pm GMT today.

All lines are closed between Bristol Parkway and Swindon have been closed most of today, 21 November, as a result of the bad weather.

The rail lines between Swindon and Bath Spa are also closed in both directions.
