North Swindon MP Justin Tomlinson is delighted with his Christmas card this year which has been designed by students at the Uplands Educational Trust.
The Uplands Educational Trust provides learning, working and living opportunities for young people in Swindon and the surrounding areas.
The trust supports young people who have sever or profound multiple learning difficulties, autistic spectrum disorders and young people with additional needs such as sensory impairment of physical disability.
Justin commented, “Uplands is a wonderful school and the Trust is a fantastic branch which provides a learning environment for those of school leaving age. As you will be able to see from my card this year, I was unable to pick an individual winner from all of the designs. I’ve therefore gone with a Christmas collage!
Many thanks to pupils Matthew, Kale, Keith, Jasmine, Muket, Hamish, Ryan, Moses and Jason for their brilliant artwork which is helping to spread Christmas cheer. I am sure that local residents will appreciate the huge amount of creative effort that has gone into these cards this year, I know I certainly do!”
A donation has been made by Justin Tomlinson MP, and the North Swindon Conservative Councillors to the Uplands Educational Trust based on Stratton Road in Swindon.
