Great Western Way is currently at a standstill, with reports that traffic is moving just a few inches every ten minutes.
Since 11am this morning, dozens of Swindon 24 readers reported that traffic has been moving incredibly slowly, causing severe delays across the town.
It’s now 1.30pm, and reports of stand-still traffic are still coming in.
Many drivers have given up sitting in the queues, and have decided to cross the dual-carriageway by crossing the grass central reservation to use another route.
