The passenger of a car, which was involved in a horror crash on Thamesdown Drive last night, has escaped with only minor injuries.
Passenger Chris Challice claims he had stopped at the traffic lights when a car ploughed into the back of his car ‘without braking’.
The collision happened at around 9.30pm, Friday, 15 April, at the Garsington Drive and Queen Elizabeth Drive junction of Thamesdown Drive.
The main road was partially closed for several hours while more than a dozen firefighters worked to extract him from his battered vehicle.
Everyone involved, luckily, escaped with minor injuries.
All three emergency services attended the scene, with multiple police units, and a number of crews from South Western Ambulance Service.
