Swindon mum, Jessie Dimino, who launched an attack on a teenager following a fling with ‘her man’, has avoided a jail sentence.
The Swindon Advertiser reports: “Jessica Dimino launched a violent attack on the 17-year-old, who had enjoyed a fling with her man, after spotting her walking along a pathway on Tuesday, February 3.
“The 24-year-old, who ‘came out of nowhere’, punched her hard to the face sending her reeling, and leaving her covered in blood, before pinching her purse.
“In late 2014 he said the defendant and her boyfriend, called Tyler, had split for a while and he had a fling with the victim before they got back together.
“Soon after Dimino sent a Facebook message to the younger girl which started off calling her a ‘Dutty Junge’, which is street talk meaning dirty slag.
“It went on to warn her to stay away from her boyfriend calling her a ‘Bozz eyed little yat’, which means cross eyed woman.
“But after hearing the woman now had a two-month-old son with the man and was getting help for her mental health problems a judge imposed a community order.
“Dimino, of Castleton Road, Middleaze, pleaded guilty to theft and common assault.
“The court heard she had previous convictions and cautions for common assault and theft.”
Judge Tim Mousley QC imposed a one-year community order with rehabilitation. She was also asked to pay £200 in compensation, alongside a restraining order lasting two years – put in place to keep her victim safe.
