UPDATE: Mark has been found safe and well.

Mark McCarron, from Haydon Wick, was last seen at the Great Western Hospital where he was receiving treatment at around 6am this morning, 17 July.

Seven hours since his disappearance, WILSAR have been seen searching the hospital grounds, as well as the side of the A419 near to Commonhead roundabout (pictured).

“He was wearing a pea-green t-shirt, black shorts with white stripes on and trainers. He is described as a large build with blond hair and blue eyes”, police say.

Inspector Mark Thompson said: “We would ask anyone who sees Mark to contact us via 999. His family and friends are very worried about him and I would urge him to get in touch immediately. We don’t believe that Mark has his mobile phone with him so may not be able to phone for help.”
