Prison for woman that tried to burn down a house

A Redhouse woman who attempted to set fire to a house and head-butted a police officer during a search has been sent to prison for ten months.

North Swindon resident Milena Bianca O’Connell, 24, threatened to burn down a home in Priory Vale, and later posted a burning piece of paper through the door of the property.

Not just did O’Connell attempt to burn down a house, but she also assaulted a police officer by head-butting him in the nose as they searched her.

O’Connell was sentenced to ten months in prison, ordered to pay an £80 victim surcharge and £900 towards the cost of the court case, which must be paid within 27 months.
