Prime Minster asks Swindon MP to continue as Solicitor General

South Swindon MP Robert Buckland has been asked to continue his work as Her Majesty’s Solicitor General by Prime Minister Theresa May.

He posted on Facebook: “Honoured and delighted to have been asked by Prime Minister Theresa May to continue as HM Solicitor General. [I’m] looking forward to the work ahead.”

The 47-year-old politician Robert Buckland was first appointed the role in 2014.
