Pools of blood left on floor after incident in Swindon town centre

Pools of blood have been left on the floor of Swindon town centre after an incident.

The emergency services were called the scene, in the Canal Walk area, at around 4am this morning, Monday 15 August.

The exact circumstances around the incident are currently unknown.

A witness told Swindon 24 that Wiltshire Police and South Western Ambulance Service were at the scene in the early hours of this morning.

The blood was removed from the floor by Swindon Borough Council staff much later – at 7.35am. 

Wiltshire Police have been approached for comment. Updates to follow.
