Wiltshire police have launched in appeal for witnesses after four people suffered serious injuries following a collision near Marlborough.
The road traffic collision took place at around 11.45pm, between three cars: a silver Toyota Corolla, a blue Audi A4 and a black Vauxhall Astra.
The collision occurred on the A346 between Marlborough and Swindon, close to the Ogbourne Downs Golf Club.
As a result of the collision four people have sustained injuries.
The driver of the Toyota Corolla, man from Swindon area, sustained serious internal, head and leg injuries, which are described as life threatening. He was taken to Southmead hospital.
The driver of the Audi sustained serious leg injuries. He was also taken to Southmead.
The passenger and driver of the Astra, both women from Bristol, suffered minor injuries and were taken to the Great Western Hospital in Swindon.
The A346 was completely closed to traffic in both direction for more than four hours to allow collision investigators to examine the scene.
