Three people have been arrested, and a Pinehurst house has been searched, after police stopped a car which was believed to be involved in dealing drugs.
A vehicle was stopped by plain-clothed and uniformed police officers in four unmarked cars on the afternoon of Thursday 26 November, on Ocotal Way.
Following a search of one of the occupant’s premises, three people were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class A drug.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “On Thursday 26 November around 2.00pm officers stopped a car in Swindon believed to be involved in a drugs deal.
“This lead to a search of premises in Pinehurst. Three people were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class A drug.
“A 24 year old man from London, a 38 year old woman from Swindon and a 29 year old man from Swindon were released on conditional bail.”
