Police investigating a stabbing in Oxfordshire on Sunday evening are today (16/12) appealing for the public’s help in tracing a man who officers wish to speak to.
Christian Lund, who is 23-years-old and has Swindon links, is around 5ft 8ins tall with wavy dark blond hair.
He’s wanted in connection with an incident near to the Bay Tree public house in Grove yesterday afternoon at just before 5pm.
The victim, a man aged in his late teens, sustained a minor injury to his back and was treated in hospital. He has since been discharged.
Detective Inspector Richard Allmond, of Abingdon CID, said: “I am releasing an image of Christian Lund and appealing for the public’s help in locating him so we can speak to him about this incident.
“If anybody knows of his whereabouts, we would ask you to report this to us via our website or by calling 101, quoting reference 43240606332.
“If you see him, do not approach him, but call us on 999.
“I would also appeal directly to Christian, if you see this, please report to your nearest police station as soon as possible so we can talk to you about this incident.
“Anybody who witnessed the incident is also urged to contact Thames Valley Police, or for anonymity, the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
