Mark McCarron, 45, from Haydon Wick, was last seen at the hospital where he was receiving treatment at around 6.10am this morning, 17 July.

“He was wearing a pea-green t-shirt, black shorts with white stripes on and trainers. He is described as a large build with blond hair and blue eyes”, police say.

Inspector Mark Thompson said: “We would ask anyone who sees Mark to contact us via 999. His family and friends are very worried about him and I would urge him to get in touch immediately. We don’t believe that Mark has his mobile phone with him so may not be able to phone for help.”
