A man is wanted for failing to appear at court, where he was due at an extradition hearing, following a serious sexual assault in France.
Thames Valley Police has issued a photo of the wanted man, Colin Marshall, aged 48.
He failed to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 7 June where he was due at an extradition hearing. He was on remand for serious sexual assault in France and there is a European Arrest Warrant out for him.
He was last seen at 6am on 7 June when he was dropped at Swindon train station and was planning to get a train to London.
He is described as 6ft 1in, broad build, bald. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, blue jeans and carrying a khaki rucksack.
Det Insp Paul Powell said: “We are very keen to trace Colin. He has failed to appear at court and this has triggered a European Arrest Warrant for his arrest. There’s a genuine fear for Colin’s welfare as he was quite distressed before he went missing.
“We would like to hear from anyone who recognises Colin or knows of his whereabouts to contact us as a matter of urgency.”
