The incident happened at approximately 6pm on 26 November, on Savernake Street, when they noticed the man was indecently exposing himself at the other end of the park.

The girls immediately left, but realised the man left the park via another entrance and was making his way towards them on Savernake Street.

They shouted at the man to leave them alone and left.

The man is described as a white male in his 40’s, 5’10”- 6’0″ tall, of slim build wearing dark clothing. He also had a white mountain bike with him which he had to lift over the fencing into the park.

PC Chris Hughes, who is investigating the incident said: “These young women were left very scared after this incident and I am keen to hear from anyone who may have seen this man in the area at the time, or who may know who he is.

“Residents on Savernake Street may have seen him acting suspiciously and although it was dark at the time, the girls were able to see his white mountain bike which they saw him lifting over the fence.

“If you heard or saw anything suspicious around 6pm I would urge you to get in touch and help us find this man.”
