Swindon’s Shoebox Theatre is looking for young stars to join their summer school next month.
Each course will take place over 5 days in which they will gain skills in acting, comedy, stage combat, and puppetry.
The courses have been designed to give young performers an introduction into a variety of theatre skills, which will be invaluable for those looking to continue studying or working in the performing arts. They are challenging, educational and enjoyable – with a focus on exploring technique in a fun and accessible way.
There is no audition to join and no previous experience is needed to take part, just commitment and enthusiasm.
Each course is limited to 16 students per class and will provide students with the opportunity to widen their knowledge of theatre and discover new talents. It will also include a performance to an invited audience at the Shoebox Theatre, so students can put their new-found skills to the test!
