A charity gift-wrap service, that has already raised around £12,000 for Prospect Hospice, returned to The Brunel Centre this weekend.
The gift-wrap stall, which will once again be run by an army of volunteer present wrappers from Prospect Hospice, offers shoppers the opportunity to have their purchases gift-wrapped in exchange for a donation to the Wroughton-based charity.
This will be the fourth year that The Brunel and Prospect Hospice have worked together on this popular festive fundraiser.
Jane Stewart, Marketing Manager of The Brunel said: “We’re delighted that the charity gift wrap service raises so much money for Prospect Hospice and we’re confident that it will be very popular with shoppers again this year. The suggested donation is £2.00 per present and every penny of the donations received go straight to the hospice.”
Hollie Ricketts, Community Fundraiser at Prospect Hospice said: “We greatly appreciate people coming down to The Brunel and having their gifts wrapped in return for a donation to the Hospice. It is always a brilliant fundraiser for us, we are very thankful to the local community, our volunteers and to The Brunel who support this event each year”.
The stall is situated on the ground floor of The Brunel Plaza in front of Timpson’s at the Havelock Square entrance. It will be open at various times from Saturday 2 December up until 4:15pm Christmas Eve. Please check www.thebrunel.co.uk for full details of opening times.
